Description

Aqueous and Anhydrous Ammonia Vaporization Systems

Caloritech™ designs Vaporization Systems for anhydrous and aqueous ammonia used to control Nitrous Oxide (NOx) emissions in Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) applications. Ammonia Vaporization Systems are designed for changing the state of anhydrous and aqueous ammonia from liquid to gas form while maintaining the desired pressure conditions and delivering the gas vapors to selective catalytic reduction (SCR) reactors. The Ammonia Vaporization System is ideal for use in a wide range of applications, including utility plants, power generation plants, cogeneration power plants, refineries, peeking facilities, industrial and gas turbines.

EXC - Circulation Heater (High Density, Copper Sheath)

The Caloritech™ EXC High Density Circulation Heater with Copper Sheath is essentially a flange heater mounted in a welded vessel and is used primarily to heat water or other aqueous solutions that are not corrosive to the steel vessel or the copper sheathed elements.

EXI - Circulation Heater (High Density, Incoloy® Sheath)

The Caloritech™ EXI High Density Circulation Heater with Incoloy® Sheath is essentially a flange heater mounted in a welded vessel and is used primarily for liquid heating heating applications, such as heating water or aqueous solutions. It is especially useful in rinse tanks where the chemical additives would be corrosive to copper. This heater is ideal for use in forced flow and natural flow heating loops where a safe, clean, reliable and efficient heating source is required.

EXF - Circulation Heater (Low to Medium Density, Incoloy® Sheath)

The Caloritech™ EXF Low to Medium Density Circulation Heater with Incoloy® Sheath is essentially a flange heater mounted in a welded vessel and is used primarily to heat circulated oils or process liquids that are not corrosive to steel, incoloy®, compressed air or other gases. These lower density heaters are especially useful for high viscosity liquids or high temperature, low flow steam or gas heating systems.

CWCB - Packaged Circulation Heater

The Caloritech™ CWCB Packaged Circulation Heater is designed for installation in circulating loops where space is limited. The basic unit can be equipped with various control packages which will allow the heater to function as a commercial swimming pool heater, a side arm domestic water heater or commercial dishwasher booster heater, or a commercial hot water furnace for comfort or process heating.

PXFT - Control Panel and Pump House Heater

The Caloritech™ PXFT Control Panel and Pump House Heater is designed to maintain a suitable temperature inside a control enclosure, pump house or similar space. It is approved for mounting horizontally or vertically on the floor or lower wall of the enclosure. Standard units are intended for indoor applications and come equipped with a built-in thermostat. Units without thermostat are also available on special order.

Caloritech™ PH Fan-Forced Enclosure Heaters are designed to control the environment within enclosures by maintaining a stable temperature. The effects of low temperatures, such as corrosion, freezing or condensation, will adversely affect the components inside control panels. The Enclosure Heater provides an optimal performance environment for the critical components contained within the control panel.

FGCS - Fuel Gas Conditioning System

Fuel Gas Conditioning Systems remove small amounts of moisture, liquid mist, and particulate contaminants from fuel gases. Capabilities include gas preheating and pressure reduction as required by specification. Gas metering is also available. The FGCS prepares the fuel (natural) gas for use in gas turbines, gas furnaces, gas burners, etc. It is typically used by gas turbine manufacturers, combined cycle power plants, natural gas turbine installations, gas fired furnaces, and small off-shore and on-shore power generators. A variety of Fuel Gas Conditioning System configurations are available to match the specific needs of different applications.

FX - Liquid Heat Transfer Systems

The Caloritech™ FX Liquid Heat Transfer Systems are custom designed to provide high temperature process heat without the need for high pressure design common to saturated steam transfer systems. This enables the FX system to provide accurate process temperatures up to 375°C (707°F) in molds, platens, presses and jacketed vessels or pipes under practically negligible pressure conditions. Heat transfer fluid, such as hot oil, is circulated through electric circulation heaters (low density EXF) and the process in a closed loop. Systems are supplied as fully prewired and piped packaged assemblies with every detail tailored to the customer's specific application. CPS - Control Panel (Contactor Stages)

The Caloritech™ CPS Control Panel (Contactor Stages) is ideal in scenarios where more than two levels of staging are required. The CPS series includes a modulating temperature control driving a step control, which in turn brings on a number of contactor stages. Time delay between steps is adjustable to match the system dynamics. The high limit is a 543 manual reset, with thermocouple for -20 to +1100°C range.

CPG - Ground Fault Protection Control Panel

The Caloritech™ CPG Ground Fault Protection Control Panel is specifically designed to provide ground fault protection of permanently installed commercial and industrial heating equipment such as infrared radiant heaters, and to protect the heating equipment from damage due to excessive leakage currents. It is not suitable to provide shock protection. A factory wired ground fault sensor continually monitors the circuit for harmful leakage currents and opens the circuit when a threshold value has been reached. The wide 10mA to 100mA adjustable setpoint of the ground fault sensor provides protection of single or multiple heaters. This unit is for use in conjunction with other devices providing main circuit isolation, overcurrent or short circuit protection.

CPP - Power Pack Control Panel

The Caloritech™ CPP Power Pack Control Panel consists of a prewired contactor, transformer, pilot light and fuses in a Type 4 enclosure for a quick and convenient installation. Control circuits are 120 VAC. Panels can be built to meet weather resistant or hazardous location specifications. Check factory for details. Typically the SCR stage switches 20 to 30% of the total load with contactors making up the balance. The control package automatically determines when extra base load contactor steps need to be brought in or dropped out. Many adjustments such as proportioning band, zero and span, and time delay between stages are field adjustable to fine tune to the process.

CPE - Full Solid State Power Control Panel

The Caloritech™ CPE Full Solid State Power Control Panel is designed for automatic control of electric heaters using proven concepts and procedures. All Caloritech™ control panels can be custom built to meet various environmental requirements including dust, oil, and water, as well as corrosive or hazardous materials. The CPE unit features full SCR control. Multiple backup contactors are used to protect and facilitate wiring to the process heater. Where necessary, type 12 enclosures include fans and vents to keep ambient temperatures to a safe level.
