Routine sampling of the water within the CompAir DH compressors is necessary to ensure the compressor operates at peak efficiency, to promote long service life and maintain the compressor package warranty. Oil-free, water injected compressors require specific water quality standards to ensure trouble free operation. The minimum water standards are clearly stated in the CompAir Product’s User Manual. Testing and monitoring of incoming and recirculation water quality is more than a condition of package warranty it will also alert the end user to operating conditions that require corrective action.

The DH internal system water should also be periodically tested to maintain water quality. CompAir recommends that the internal system water should be sampled every 4000 hours of operation or at each scheduled maintenance interval, whichever comes first, or a minimum of once a year.
